 Our 2 hour Paediatric Basic Life Support  course will equip you with the skills to deal with life threatening emergency situations including identifying  issues, administering immediate care, and seeking assistance. 

This course is suitable for Parents, Carers and Grandparents etc.

 Classroom-based Training Course

•  2 hours Practical classroom-based training.

This Course Includes:

• About First Aid
• Fears of First Aid
• Calling for Help
• Patient Consent
• Initial Assessment/Primary Survey
• Airway and Breathing
• Recovery Position
• Infant Recovery Position
• Sudden Cardiac Arrest
• Adult /Older Child CPR
• Using an AED
• CPR - Pregnant Person
• Drowning
• Child CPR
• Infant CPR
• Adult and Child Choking
• Infant Choking

These courses will be undertaken in our training room in Stotfold. This means that there will be a maximum of 4 people in each group. This offers the benefits of small group learning plus the use of your own manikin for CPR learning.

However , these courses can be undertaken for up to 12 learners if required. These will then be held in a local hall.

Focused sessions-

• We will be offering separate sessions specifically for grandparents.
• We will be offering the 2 hour course for mums with young babies. The babies will be welcome at these sessions which will be held in our training room in Stotfold.

 Our 4 hour Parent First Aid course is designed for both new and experienced parents, offering essential first aid skills for infants and children.  This  course will equip you with the fundamental skills to identify issues, administer immediate care, and seek assistance during those uncertain moments.

Becoming a new parent can be daunting, but our courses provide the knowledge and confidence needed to handle potential emergencies. You'll gain peace of mind knowing you can respond effectively to any situation involving your little ones.

Our 2 hour Classroom-Based course  teaches you the essential first aid to keep a person alive until an AED arrives ready to use.

This includes CPR procedures and the correct use of the AED.

A defibrillator in your workplace, community or school could save a life if someone has a cardiac arrest

Our 6 hour Classroom-Based course  teaches you the essential first aid skills required for the children in your care.

 Classroom-based Training Course

•  6 hours Practical classroom-based training.

This Course Includes:

• Roles and responsibilities of a First Aider
• Accident reporting
• CPR child and infant
• Recovery position child and infant
• First aid for child/infant who is experiencing a seizure 
• First aid for child/infant who is choking
• First aid for child/infant with external bleeding
